Carefully reaching in to capture a Monarch butterfly... 
I held the butterfly's wings very gently and then...
... I showed the children how to place the identification tag on its wing.
The identification tag is now in place. Its ready to be released.
Walking outside to the fields with teachers and children to release the tagged Monarchs. All the children were very excited. Teachers too!
Releasing the first Monarch.
Due to the wind, I decided to place the Monarch butterfly on the Goldenrod.
